Hello guys, this is a popular question, i have an excel inventory with all the info of my Datacenter, including position and ammount of Rack Units used per Device, and i'm trying to make Visio to accomodate each device according to the info in the spreadsheet.. (Rack 1, Position 2, etc.) but it's getting complicated.. has anyone accomplished this? or at least have any idea to where i should start with this? i managed to create links and dragging them to my already created shapes, but if the shapes where automatically created and positioned according to the spreadsheet.. it would be the holy grail of datacenter inventories.. and i would not have to update manually every change the entire Team makes..
