Looks like there's no way to allow more text in screentips in Visio 2010 without some programming. One alternative I saw in this forum was to create an object, i.e., Word?, that would allow more text when hovering over the shape. Can someone please tell me exactly how to do this? I need just a bit more text shown than available in screentips. I really don't want the hyperlink option as it takes several clicks to get to the document, plus having to create and store all the documents is a hassle. I have a huge visio diagram with many shapes. Please let me know what tool I might have to use (if necessary) and exactly how to do this. Thanks very much!
