Hi,
I have recently started at a new job and have been tasked with creating the organization chart with Visio 2013. There are Visio files saved of the old org charts (I believe these are Visio 2010 files as they end in .VSD, and I only have 2013 installed on my PC.
I have successfully created the org chart using the organization chart wizard, however need assistance with the formatting of the boxes etc. In particular I would like different font sizes and Colors for the three fields (Title, First name, and Surname). I can see there is an option for this in the Visio 2010 file (.VSD) - See 'Text field options pic' below for details. I could format each box individually, but that would take hours....
Old box pic - Unable to post until verified, but it simply had the position title field in black font, and the firstname and surname fields in blue.
New box pic - It has position title, firstname and surname in black font.
I have selected hide picture and from the shapes I have changed it to 'shapetacular', and have also selected the simple design for the theme.
Text field options pic -In the 2010 file I go to the Org chart tab, and under Height, Width, Change Position type I click the handle (display options). This opens a window with the tabs Options, Fields, and Text. This is where I can change the font sizes and Colors for each of the fields (namely the position title, first name and surname.
I have also opened the .VSD (in compatibility mode) and tried to do an import, however the import doesn't default to the old box layout and just creates a new box/theme etc. It then also does not have the 'Text' tab.
I would appreciate all advise and assistance with trying to replicate the old old chart style and format.
Thanks.
