Vision 2013 Org Chart Pictures from Exhange

Hi

I am trying to use Visio 2013 (I know this is a Visio 2010 forum but the isn't one for 2013) to create an Org Chart from Exchange to include photos.  Everything works fine except the photos are not pulled in.  We have photos in AD\Exchange in the thumbnailPhoto attribute and these are displaying successfully in Outlook, Word etc.

I have found several posts on this subject (some links included below) but nobody seems to have an answer on how to get the AD photo's to pull through.

These is a lot of talk about automating the import of images but according to this article http://blogs.office.com/2012/08/20/visualize-your-organization-like-never-before-in-the-new-visio/ this should work with Exchange/AD out of the box.

I don't want to create a separate list of images and insert them as that is doubling up effort.

Can anybody shed any light on what might be going wrong or if anybody has ever actually managed to get the photos to import from Exchange into Visio 2013 Org Chart.

Any help really appreciated.
