Hello everyone,
I'd like to start off by saying I am not the most informed TurboCAD user. I'm using TurboCAD Deluxe 21.1, and Visio Premium 2010. What I'm trying to do is see if I can use TurboCAD to draw 3D objects and put them into Visio so that the people I'm making the drawings for can open and edit them. I only have a trial for TurboCAD because I need to figure out if I can open the drawings in Visio before my employer purchases the program. The problem I'm having is that every time I try to insert a .DWG file into visio all I get is an empty box. I drew a simple drawing in TurboCAD and saved it as a DWG, then a DFW but the same issue occurs. I've tried using a viewport to put it in paper space and save it but the same issue occured. I tried editing the properties of the drawing, such as line weight and visibility in both TurboCAD and Visio, but that did nothing. I even tried simply coping and pasting the 2D version of the drawing. I don't know if the problem is being caused by me, TurboCAD, or Visio, but any assistance would be apprieciated
